I created some lists of helpful resources to guide you on your vegan journey.
Living a vegan life, doesn't have to be so overwhelming. There is a huge amount of information, and there are vegan guides to help you get started. Check out Erik Marcus’ Ultimate Vegan Guide a very helpful resource for veganism. PETA also has a great starter kit you can download.
SIGNING ANIMAL PETITIONS IS A GOOD WAY TO GIVE BACK
Farmed animals are smart and unique individuals, just like the dogs and cats we share our homes with. But behind the closed doors of modern farms they endure brutal cruelty. Most spend their entire lives in dark, crowded, waste-filled sheds. Some are locked in cages so small they can barely turn around. Because many animal cruelty laws do not protect them, farmed animals are often beaten, mutilated, and painfully slaughtered. Together, we can expose and end this abuse. Join us in helping protect farmed animals by inspiring compassionate food choices and policies.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 5 million members and supporters. PETA works to stop all animal cruelty and focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely, for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. They have many helpful resources on their website to help guide with your journey on veganism.
Petitions to sign for animal abuse. It is heart breaking, but so important that we sign these petitions to punish people who do such unthinkable acts towards defenseless animals.

WWF’s work has evolved from saving species and landscapes to addressing the larger global threats and forces that impact them. Recognizing that the problems facing our planet are increasingly more complex and urgent, we have refined the way in which we work around an ambitious new strategy. Working together with 1.1 million supporters , WWF’s partners, projects and experts are making a difference in creating a healthy future for our planet.
Farm Animal Sanctuary Directory
For animals that have endured the victimization of factory farming, farm animal sanctuaries are safe havens. You can donate, visit or volunteer for them. The opportunity to meet and pet a cow, or rub the belly of a pig is truly remarkable. Very few animals trapped in factory farms and our food system ever experience freedom, but sanctuaries offer kindness in this world of brutal cruelty.
