My Top 10 Favorite Vegan Food Products

Vegan Ice Cream Product

More than 16 million people in the U.S. are now vegan or vegetarian. Vegan is going mainstream trend data suggests. The demand for vegan products are expanding beyond just vegans. It includes consumers seeking cleaner and healthier foods. Veganism and products are also gaining traction on social media, which spreads awareness.

My top 10 favorite vegan food products are so delectable, you will triple-check the ingredients list to be sure there’s no dairy, eggs, or meat in them.

It was hard to choose only 10 favorites, because there are so many spectacular products. Don’t forget to check out all of my favorite product’s websites. They all offer many more products, as well as great recipe ideas.

  1. Earth BalanceButter spread and baking sticks

Really? This isn’t butter, but it taste like butter!

A staple for every vegan baker, no one will be able to taste a difference in your cookies, brownies, or other vegan treats. It melts, and creams like the real thing. It is creamy, spreadable, and the buttery taste is rich. My favorite spread is the original. My husband likes the Omega-3 spread.

Some of their other scrumptious products are; Nut butters, from creamy to crunchy, to added coconut, and even protein butter.

  1. Field RoastSausages

Now that it is spring, it is barbecue time! Sausages, deli slices, tempeh, and many more products. There sausages are perfect for any occasion. They are loaded with lots of protein! My favorite is to make spaghetti with the Italian sausage grilled, and top with Victoria’s vegan sauce.

Try them grilled with a bun and fresh sauerkraut toppings. Mouth watering.

  1. So DeliciousCoconutmilk creamers

My favorite creamer is the French Vanilla. Refreshing in my morning coffee. It helps me get out of bed in the mornings. There are 3 delicious flavors to choose from. They are organic, Non-GMO project verified nuts.

They have many other products as well. Check out their great blog with recipes. Every time I go to the store, I buy as many as they have, because it seems they run out of this product fast.

  1. Beyond meatThe Beyond plant-based burger

Wow! These burgers are the hit at every party we have had. Grilled to perfection are the ideal choice for any occasion. They are made from plants. Topping them with your favorite topping; avocados, tomatoes, mushrooms, and many other grilled vegetables. Don’t forget vegan cheese.  They are great pan-fried too. My mouth is watering just thinking of these.

  1. Ben & Jerry’s –Vegan Ice-Cream

Cinnamon Buns, Peanut Butter Half Baked- Caramel Almond Brittle, Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chunky Monkey, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, Coffee Caramel Fudge, P&B & Cookies.

Not all-alternative ice cream has an ice-cream consistency, but these creamy products are spectacular. Hint: Remember to dish out a serving, or you just may eat the entire pint. Just like I did this last week! 🙂

  1. Follow your HeartVegenaise

It is better than mayo. Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise® is a popular option made with expeller-pressed grapeseed oil, known to improve heart health by raising HDL (good cholesterol) and lowering LDL (bad cholesterol).

Take a look at all their products. You must try VeganEgg. This is an incredible new whole egg replacer!  Bake cookies, muffins, cakes, and even scrambled eggs that are fluffy.

  1. DaiyaCheeses

Say “Cheese.” Shredded cheese, slice cheese, cream cheese, mac ‘n’ cheese. It is all cheese. All dairy free, but your taste buds will not know the difference. All their products are dairy, gluten and soy free. They have great recipes on their website. Try a strawberry cream cheese frosting perfect for vegan cupcakes.

There are a lot of other vegan cheeses that are delicious.

*NOTE: Daiya sold to a large pharmaceutical company that tests on animals. Many activist are demanding to boycott their products.

I think that reactions like this are incredibly counterproductive to the goal of spreading veganism and helping animals. There are many large corporations that engage in practices that harm animals, because those practices are profitable. If you want large corporations to buy into veganism, show them that offering vegan products can be profitable too!

The more that large corporations are investing in vegan products, the more that people will choose to go vegan, and more animals are saved.

      8.  Good KarmaFlaxmilk

It is smooth and creamy. I buy the unsweetened flaxmilk. No sugar added. Non-GMO and certified vegan. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

Low in sugar, and made with real plant-based food ingredients.

This company was founded in 1920. Created from family recipes, these sauces taste home-made. My favorite sauce is the Vegan Artichoke Alfredo Sauce. I also enjoy the Vegan Alfredo Red Pepper Sauce.
